In Memory of Heather Bridge

Rick MacKenzie • September 16, 2025

On Monday, September 1, 2025, Drury Lane lost another strong member. Heather passed away after a long 2-year battle of cancer. Heather not only leaves behind a loving mother, husband and family of 6 children with 7 grandchildren, but also her theatrical family. She leaves behind hundreds of friends from Mississauga Players, Theatre Etobicoke, TAPCT (The Absolute Port

Credit Troupers), NOMADS and Drury Lane. Heather’s physical and emotional love was shared with hundreds of people over the years and Drury Lane was blessed with this love over the past 8 years. This was shown when she won the award for best production of 2024-25. This was because she brought together a team of individuals who loved being together and made a production where everyone wanted to be there. That love and leadership will be hard to create again. She will not only be missed by her personal family, but also her theatrical family. We have not only lost a great person, but we have lost a valuable friend. She will be a part of all our lives forever.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Polish Banquet Hall, 2316 Fairview Street, Burlington, On L7R 2E4. Time: 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Please come and share in this celebration - we look forward to seeing you. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for donations to support Pets and their families – email any donations to HeatherMemorial2025@gmail.com.
