CALL FOR PRODUCERS and STAGE MANAGERS - 2026-2027 SEASON
PRODUCERS:
We are currently seeking individuals to take on the most important responsibility of becoming PRODUCERS for next season’s shows. Our line-up next year is: A Christmas Story (Fall 2026), 46th Annual Music Hall (Winter 2027), and Little Women (Spring 2027).
Qualifications:
Our Producers must be Drury Lane Members (non-members may apply, but must become members prior to beginning their work) who have lots of enthusiasm for building a wonderful Creative Production Team!!! You are prepared to work in a team of 2-3 Co-Producers. Your role starts prior to Auditions, getting things organized and then you steer the Ship up to Opening Night!
Your project management skills as Producer include planning and goal setting, co-creating a master production timeline, rehearsal and technical schedules, working alongside the Artistic Director, Technical Director, and Stage and Music Directors to establish resource breakdown, and personnel assignments, holding consistent production meetings, organizational skills using effective tools to share schedules and updates (e.g. Google Drive), managing the budget provided and excellent communication skills.
Responsible to the Artistic Director, you are the main liaison to the Board of Directors for DLTP. You will be required to give regular reports to the Artistic Director throughout the Production Schedule. You maintain the “big picture” view of the production. Interested but no experience? No problem! You will receive training and support from The Artistic Director.

STAGE MANAGERS
We are currently seeking individuals who have the desire to take on the important role of STAGE MANAGER for each of the Main Shows of our 2026-2027 Season. Our line-up next year is: A Christmas Story (Fall 2026), 46th Annual Music Hall (Winter 2027), and Little Women (Spring 2027).
Qualifications
Stage managers facilitate communication across all creative and technical departments; communicate regularly with the Co-Producers, act as a right hand to the director; oversee sets, props, lights, and sound; and call all technical cues during performances.
Rehearsal and Production: Stage managers schedule and run rehearsals, where they also:
● Record the director's decisions about blocking and notes for the actors;
● Convey the director's wishes to designers and stage crew;
● Create the prompt book (a.k.a. "the bible")—a thick binder containing the production's sound, lighting, and set cues, as well as other vital information. Pre-Show and Performance/post production: Once a show has opened, the stage manager is in charge of overseeing the integrity of the performance, including:
● Supervising preshow activities such as technical and safety checks;
● Running the performers through warm-ups and notes;
● Ensuring that everyone is ready for their entrances, and that the “house” is ready
● Calling technical cues to the crew over headset.
● Working with the Producers and Technical Director for the post show strike. Interested but no experience? No problem! You will receive training and support from experienced Stage Managers.

The 46th Annual Music Hall (February/March 2027) One of Drury Lane’s longest-running and most beloved traditions—an evening of variety, comedy, and musical spectacle. Come clap and cheer, hiss and boo, and sing along! Little Women – The Broadway Musical (May 2027) Louisa May Alcott’s beloved story of the four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth, is now a magical musical spectacle where spirit, love, heartbreak, hope, and romance are backed with a powerful score. Beyond the mainstage, Drury Lane Plus , our fundraising performance series, expands our programming with intimate, music-driven events, perfect for audiences looking to experience live performance in new and exciting ways. Next season we present Celebrating Springsteen: Unplugged, and Piece of My Heart – Janis Joplin Tribute. Together, they represent a season that celebrates storytelling, music, humour, and heart. As always, subscribers enjoy the best seats, best value, and a reassurance of priority booking. Saturday and Sunday matinees continue to be available for every production. Our Senior Discount continues for opening Friday and Saturday performances. And for flexibility, two and three show subscription packages allow you to tailor your season to suit your schedule.
