About The Shows
Drury Lane is casting performers for two big musicals next season. For A Christmas Story, we will be looking for youth aged 8 to 17. Adults aged 18 and older are welcome to audition for both musicals.
A Christmas Story, The Musical (Fall 2026):
A lavish, glittering Holiday Musical you will be part of the story where
Ralphie Parker is on his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts – a Red Ryder air rifle. But to get it, he must navigate all the obstacles of the yuletide season. Enter a Narrator, a neighbourhood bully, a strict school teacher, a distracted dad and a loving and smart mom along with a department store Santa to help tell the tale. This musical stage adaptation of the beloved movie brings fabulous singing and dancing, and all the classic laughs to the Drury Lane stage. Seeking both adult (18+) roles and youth roles (ages 8 to 17).
Little Women, The Broadway Musical (Spring 2027): Louisa May Alcott’s beloved story of the adventures of the fourMarch sisters is brought to vivid musical life in L ittle Women –The Broadway Musical. We meet Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth, who live with their mother in Concord, Massachusetts while the Civil War rages.
The struggle of these “Little Women” to find their own voices mirrors the growing pains of a young America. With buoyant, joyful melodies, memorable characters, and a big-hearted message, Little Women reminds us that “sometimes when you dream, your dreams come true.” A beautiful stage adaptation will require a number of actors, ranging in "stage age" 18, up to senior presenting actors of 50+, and everything in-between.
We welcome actors, singers and dancers of all levels and diverse backgrounds. All roles are volunteer/unpaid, but we guarantee a fun, supportive rehearsal process and a chance to shine on our mainstage. Performers must become members of Drury Lane Theatrical Productions.
