Oktoberfest 2003

Once again Louise and her minions of the gourmet table have presented an excellent evening of dining and entertainment. In the Oktoberfest theme the menu of sausages, sauerkraut, scalloped potatoes, beets, salad and pickled herring (fortunately Linda didn't like it so I had twice as much) filled us up so that when it came time to polka we all had the energy reserve to be able to do so.

Al, The Accordian Man, serenaded us and led us in a spirited Oktoberfest sing-a-long. Under the experienced tutelage of Eleanor we all tried the polka and Arthur and Davina won the best performance prize. Carrie won a prize for dancing with Rob but I am not sure what that was all about.

The accompanying pictures show that, as previously, those who did not attend missed a great Celebrity Dinner and I can only urge you to come to the next one so that you too can share in the fun.
